Overwatering / Oxygen Deficiency in Root Zone
Rapid whole-plant yellowing combined with soft, droopy leaves and overly wet medium. Roots need oxygen - waterlogged soil suffocates them and mimics nutrient deficiency.
What usually causes it
- Watering too frequently before medium has dried sufficiently
- Poor drainage or no drainage holes
- Pot too large for plant size
- Compact medium lacking aeration
