Nitrogen Deficiency
Older lower leaves turn uniformly pale yellow and drop. Nitrogen is mobile so the plant cannibalises lower leaves to feed new growth. Very common in late flower - often normal.
What usually causes it
- pH out of optimal range (6.0-7.0 soil, 5.5-6.5 hydro/coco)
- Underfeeding or weak nutrient solution
- Root damage from overwatering
- Late flowering - natural senescence
