Foxtailing
New calyxes sprouting on top of existing buds, creating elongated towers. Can be genetic in some sativa-dominant strains, or caused by heat stress and excessive light intensity in the final weeks of flowering.
What usually causes it
- Canopy temperature above 29-30 C during late flower
- Light intensity too high at bud sites
- Genetic trait in some strains
